Frances’ Garden, Gardeners World Live 2022

Sophie Parmenter was asked to help with planting for Frances Tophill’s garden at Gardeners’ World Live at the NEC and we are delighted to announce that the garden was awarded both a Platinum award and also ‘Best in Show’.

Designed by Frances herself with Ruth Gwynn Associates, and built by Keyscape Design & Construction, the garden immediately appealed to us, having sustainability at the core of its design. Many reclaimed and recycled materials were used throughout the design and all the plants used were grown in peat-free media.

It was a joy to work with such an interesting palette of plants - a mix of edibles, natives and pollinator-friendly ornamental species. Our favourite was the Mountain Marigold supplied by Jekka’s herbs which boasted an incredible scent.
